you can obviously still come here and read almost whatever you want, if you don't' want to post, don't post. if you don't want to respond, don't respond, if you don't want to read, don't come to the board. what is the purpose of deactivating? do you get a refund? I don't get it. take some time off, or never come back if you don't want to, but what purpose does deactivating serve the poster or do to anyone left on the board? was someone hoping for that board-name? does it accomplish anything? I guess for the member, maybe he/she receives some gratification or closure.
