I also do something closer to BlackBart's when I'm doing dutch oven ribs while camping. If I recall correctly, his has lemon juice in it? That's nice for slow cooking in.
This recipe I just gave you is more of a sauce to use after you've grilled or smoked something, or to apply when it's just about finished. This makes a good after sauce, in other words. It's thicker like bottled sauce, but I like it better than most bottled sauces.
