The starting line-up that seems most likely: Kafusi, Tuiloma, Taele
That's a solid D-line. Both Kafusi and Taele have shown the ability to get to the QB at times, and Tuiloma does a good job of stuffing the middle. That D-line would not be an Achilles heel for the defense. (It wouldn't be the same as having Ziggy out there, but it would be more than adequate.) But since we need 6 D-linemen, we need to worry about who the backups would be. I'm not as confident about the next three in, but we'll see.

As others are saying, in a 3-4 defense, the D-linemen need to keep the O-linemen busy so the LBs can make plays. Anything they bring beyond that (tackles at the line of scrimmage or QB pressure) is a bonus. I really think that LB inexperience/lack of execution was a bigger problem last year than D-line play. I expect that to improve this year with guys like Warner, Takitaki, and Langi.
