I can see where over time, it could be more difficult to attract top talent to play in the WCC compared to a P5 conference.

That makes me kind of sad because I really like the geography of the WCC. I also like being associated with teams that are more like-minded. I don't like the small venues, and although I can see most of BYU's BB games on TV, it still seems that overall exposure is lagging compared to what it would be in a P5 conference. I feel like the quality of play in the WCC is better than many give it credit for, but it will take a long time to change perceptions of the conference held by the average or casual college BB fan.

There is no clear evidence to show that players have opted not to sign with BYU because of their conference affiliation, but questions linger in many of our minds.
