The thing I wonder is whether Cincy or UCF or whoever else would also go for
football only? Could they find a home for their other sports like we already have? Because if they didn't, then there would be 11 teams in the Big 12 for all the other sports, and I'm not sure the league would be all that enthusiastic about that.

When we talk about a football only invite to BYU, do we have any comments or quotes on football only for some other university? I don't recall it getting mentioned.

I agree that football only probably makes a lot of sense for BYU (due primarily to Sunday play in the other sports, including TV contracts). I just wonder how viable that is for another university. (I would assume that any of the other universities that get thrown out there as possibilities would jump at football only if they can't get into the Big12 for all sports--I'm just wondering how workable that really would be.)
