I wish that were an option. I just cannot see the WCC giving up their only
revenue sport, MBB, just to make it easier for BYU to move most of their other sports to another conference.
I think the WCC likes us, but they are not a charity.
A messier but more likely scenario would be that we have to parcel out these other sports to various conferences like we have already done for Track and Swimming. It would be hard for these other sports to swallow. Women's Soccer in the Big West? Ugh.
I think SFB could stay in the WCC, otherwise they won't have enough teams to compete as a conference. The WCC already let in Creighton for Women's Rowing only.
