The daughter of perhaps the biggest Utah fans in our ward just announced she is heading to BYU. I approached her father in the hall at Church to give him a hard time and he couldn't have seemed happier for her situation. He had a ton of questions about Helaman Halls and BYU life. He told me it will take some adjusting on his part, but he is absolutely thrilled that she'll be in Provo. I was taken back, quite frankly--this guy hates BYU sports.

I good buddy of mine, who is a big Utah fan and grad, has told me on numerous occasions that in his heart of hearts he wants his kids, especially his daughters, to go to BYU.
