If you knew anything about me (and I've explicitly stated this in other posts), you would know that I am a Utah State fan and a current BYU student. I'm not a Utah fan. I am, frustrated with the current state of BYU football (which I believe to be the result of poor coaching). Given BYU's performance during my lifetime, I am amused and off-put by the general air of superiority that many BYU fans exhibit.

I didn't "cherry-pick" a time period, either. I used a decade cut-off (2000-present) that included LaVell's last win and Crowton's first win over Utah. A pro-Ute cherry-picked time period would be more like 2002-present (omitting the two BYU victories) to make the score read 9-3 (a 3:1 Utah win ratio). Can you see the difference between objectivity and selective sampling now?

Your assertion (that BYU's program is better than Utah's "flash in the pan run"), is only true if you disregard everything before LaVell, emphasize the 80's, look past the 90's (when BYU and Utah went 5-5 against each other), and TOTALLY IGNORE the last 10-15 years (the most relevant time period).

Now you tell me who is cherry-picking.
