It was the next seven games after the UOP loss in which Eric's minutes were

limited because of early foul trouble. There may have been an injury in there as well (memory fades with age son!), but he didn't miss games leading up to becoming sixth man. It seemed more related to protecting him from early fouls so he could be a presence in the game when the game was on the line.
