I imagine this season to pan out similarly to the 11-12 season post Jimmer.

Both recovering from huge losses from amazing scorer (Jimmer and Haws)
Both losing key defensive guards (Emery and Winder/Bartley)
Both get huge upgrade in the post (When Davies was suspended, we had minimal post play, like last year)
Both benefit from great transfers (Carlino and Aytes/Davis)

Now, I know last year we didn't get to Sweet Sixteen (I still think we could have), but I think our team relied less on Haws than the 10-11 team relied on Jimmer (especially since Gonzaga shut down Haws every time), so its not as big of a loss.

So, a likely tourny team that grabs a win and loses bad in the next round. I just hope that win #1 comes not from a play-in game
