What Neil is saying is that even though the Middle East thinks we are Satan (as evidenced by them dragging our flag "the red, white and blue" thru the streets and burning it and burning effigys of Pres Bush) we have our own problems and things aren't so peachy at home... homeless on the streets, etc...
