Depends on how it will be used. If it is mostly to be used on its own
with no external devices attached and for low-to-moderate demand on the processor, I would go for the MacBook Air or even the new MacBook.
If, however, you are doing movie editing or intensive graphics work or want to be plugged into several external devices, I would get a MacBook Pro.
As far as size, 13-inches seems good for screen size to me.
