running 1-2 vm's, mostly likely not at same time.dont need cd/dvd rom. battery life important, weight important, power more important than both of previous two. Haven't use a macbook air, too much, but have liked macbook pro's in the past(although, I have thought a few different times they were a bit heavy.. Mostly like because of upgraded ram and hard drive etc. (ok mostly an inconvenience because I even said, power more important than any single other thing. I guess I would just like the power of macbook pro in an air.. Is that too much to ask
