If you got the impression from my posts that I think Criddle doesn't have meaningful reads on BYU football or that he says false things for ratings, then I clearly didn't do a good job of explaining myself.

I actually think the opposite. I value his take that Davis had a great fall camp, especially since Criddle didn't feel like Davis had done that well in the past. I'm glad to hear that he has improved.

And I agree that Criddle doesn't troll for listeners. My point was that other members of the Utah sports media do. It's the usual suspects that get mentioned on here from time to time: PK (he's probably the master at this), Monson, Gunther, Scott Girard, etc. Criddle is the only one I listen to any more with any regularity because he has genuine takes.
