I've read/heard that the reason why BYU players have tended to go undrafted

lately is due to them being older than other players due to their missions. They'd rather spend their draft picks on the 20-22 year old players and then bring in the older 23-24 year old BYU players as UFAs where there's not as much risk. It has not a lot to do with them being less talented and a lot to do with their ages.
