Yep. Max Hall is incredibly underrated by most fans. He was a GREAT college QB.
All he did was:
-win more games than any other BYU QB in history
-deliver a conference title
-have a winning record against Utah
-have a winning bowl record
-beat a top 5 team (giving BYU it's best win in the Bronco era)
-make 2 of the all-time greatest throws in BYU history
-BEAT down PAC teams like UCLA and Oregon State
- the list goes on and on
Max was great COLLEGE quarterback.
Things like the Utah rant and his addictions may have tainted people's views of him as a person, but as a player, he was a secondary slicing machine and absolutely an all-time great QB at BYU.
