he would have had even more wins

BYU played more quality teams in conference in 07-09 than any of the greats did, plus he played on average 3 power conference teams per year. Bosco lost to a really bad UTEP team, McMahon a really bad Utah team, and Young a really bad Utah State team. Hall and Detmer were the only two QBs to have great wins and not suffer a single bad loss.
