Life jackets are a must. I'd say portneuf is more dangerous all up but
Provo has 2 areas with drowning danger. Going through the 2 train bridges. If you drop in lower, you miss the first one but make sure you walk around the second one...
It's a very active float. In order to not run into the trees, you have to be pretty much be watching your surroundings and paddling to avoid these tree areas.
