Some interesting tidbits that I saw in there:
60% of children with ADHD use medications, when the belief is that we are over medicating, is interesting. Clearly, parents with their professionals are working through and discussing their options, which is a good thing. In my case, we had several discussions about options, and though counseling was helping, my son was still having significant enough issues that we decided to also incorporate medication.

A portion of the rise in medication was due to the inclusion of the non-hyperactive form of ADHD. Some of this includes an increase in diagnosis as well.

Younger children are less likely to be medicated, as providers are being more cautious until it is shown to be needed.
