I think many of us, if we start losing, will watch to see how the team and coaching staff respond to the adversity. Granted, a lot of it will depend on how the show handles showing issues that develop on the team and some of the reactions to losses.
One thing that bothers me is the way the players were thrown under the bus for the losing streak last year -- that with Independence the players can have issues getting motivated after a loss, that they have nothing to play for. Isn't that part of the job of the coaching staff, to motivate the team and remind them of the things they are playing for? As such, it would have been fascinating if this show had occurred last year, to see how the coaches and players reacted, and tried to correct, the attitude in the program after losing Taysom.
