Wilson has not proven himself to be the same caliber as Mike McCoy, Alex Smith or even Brian Johnson. For Utah to even think about taking another step forward, Wilson will have to show dramatic improvement this year. He regressed from the start of the season last year to the end. Sure, he would hit one-two deep balls a game last year, but other than this, could not step up in the pocket, was running scared from the rush and only consistently made one throw - the sideline out/comeback to Kenneth Scott.
Utah's D will carry them again this year and they have a good, fast running back to rely on, but any consistent play they get out of Wilson outside of their "cupcake" games on the schedule will be a bonus.
