It's ok. I get along well with him because I know the same things he left the
church over and yet I am still active and go. I don't approach my beliefs or the church in a black and white approach while he did and since it's not all pristine white and roses, he decided it's all false.
On business trips he'll drink his beer and I'll drink my coke and it works out fine.
