The problem s, the students allow it...many are used to living in cramped
rooms with other siblings, so they don't think much of it...BYU has to be one of the only schools in the country where kids share BRs off campus...that is almost unheard of, but for LDS it is the norm.
Most kids are used to clutter, so they just put up with it...until the students demand change by voting with their feet, nothing will change.
