He had 5 games against similar-caliber competition that BYU is "expected" to be
This is just looking at last season. Those 5 games would be Miami FL, Northwestern, Rutgers, Minnesota, and Iowa. Here's his total/average stat line in those 5 games:

Total stats:
65-110 922 yds 9 TDs 4 INTs 52 rushes 246 yds 1 TD

Average/game (rounded)
13-22 184 yds 2 TDs 1 INT 10 rushes 49 yds 0 TDs

There is nothing eye-opening about that stat line at all. They're not bad, but it's nothing to get real excited over either. His highest yardage game among those 5 was against Minnesota where he threw for 223. Even in games where he had 25-30 attempts he was still only throwing for 200-220 yards which again isn't bad, but it's far from great. I expect him to come into Saturday's game and have a solid but not spectacular game. Nebraska doing well on offense will hinge on whether or not they can replace the talent at RB they lost w/ Abdullah going to the NFL. It will be interesting to see how their team performs w/ a new system they're implementing as well.
