If you think BYU has a terrible defense, you must think yours is terrible, too
2014:
BYU - 49th in S&P+, 59th in FEI
Nebraska - 46th in S&P+, 43rd in FEI
2013:
BYU - 16th in S&P+, 14th in FEI
Nebraska - 55th in S&P+, 26th in FEI
2012:
BYU - 13th in S&P+, 18th in FEI
Nebraska - 20th in S&P+, 32nd in FEI
So in 2012, BYU's defense was better than Nebraska's. In 2013, BYU's defense was a LOT better. In 2014, they were very close, with the Husker D coming in slightly ahead. Those rankings are schedule-adjusted, by the way, so no nonsense about playing in the B1G. In total over the last three seasons, our defense has been markedly superior to yours.
