We had a red bone coon hound. She was the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. She was great with kids. She would be asleep on the floor and our toddler would walk up and sit on her. She would open her eyes, look at our daughter and they go back to sleep. She was fun and liked to play. The only negative was that she shed all over the place.
