Interesting development. "A reputable buyer" has made an offer to buy Provo HS
property according to what was presented at the board meeting last night. Last year the citizens of Provo approved a bond to build several new schools including a rebuild of Provo High School. The current location of the school is prime real estate and not really big enough for a current high school. For example they don't have room for baseball fields on the property. The school district has property on the west side of I-15 that is actually slated for a high school. It will be interesting to see what happens. I have to think it is the hospital offering to buy the property but maybe not. It could be BYU. Could BYU be looking to expand for any sports?

The school district should totally make this move. I have to think they could get millions for the land which would offset the cost of building a new school on property they already own. I know there is a lot of history at PHS but financially it would be a no brainer.

Not sure what category this should go in but I thought there is a possibility BYU could be in on this. Anybody know?
