I said that in 2012 all of Kershaw's statistics had taken a step back from the previous season while Dickey had emerged as the best pitcher in the National League at the time. At the time people felt Dickey was finally emerging while Kershaw had plateaued. When 2012 came to a close you had no idea how it was going to go from there. Hindsight is always 20-20. But at that point Dickey was the best pitcher.
