You can point out points, production, wins, records, offensive development. . . pretty much any metric you can imagine related to offensive football. But the critics will come back with a handful of play calls or personnel decisions that THEY KNOW show how bad Anae is. Or, somehow, the critics KNOW that somebody else would put up better metrics than the ones you point out.
I don't know if it is Anae or just whoever is the OC at BYU. But fans seem to be convinced he is the source of all of BYU's problems, and every fan knows how to better coach.
