But what fans have historically gotten frustrated with is his stubborn belief that executing a vanilla offense is the measure of success no matter the opponent.

You are valid to point out the running back mess, but there is still ability there. Anae needs to spin up Burt and Bernard more quickly. And where he lacks weapons in the running game, he has a ton of receiver talent. Are they perfect? Nope. But compare them to the garbage UConn has and they look all pro. The TD pass to Matthews was easy. Why are we not exploiting these mismatches more?
