First of all, how are there no other camera angles? There were lots of shots last night from directly behind the offensive line. I think that angle would have shown it was a bogus call. I watched the play numerous times frame-by-frame and it was a joke. Taki comes in, starts to squat a little like he is going to launch into the QB but then clearly eases up and straightens up. Then you can see him hold his head back slightly and just flex his shoulder out at the end to hit the QB. The QB's head never snaps back showing any real contact but he falls over his OL.
I know it is a very hard call to make at full speed especially helmet-to-helmet contact on a bang, bang play but I think the ejection part of the rule needs to be revisited. I think a player should only be ejected if there is clear video proof the play was egregious, not the other way around. I hate when they take a player like Taki out so early in the game when he was dominating.
