There was some discussion about RA's play calling and how predictable it was during the post game with Hans. Alisa made the comment that he was talking to friends he has on the team right now that said the Boise State middle linebacker was calling out BYU's plays before the snap. Including which gap the running play was supposed to go.
While he defended Anae about whether he was predictable or not he clearly said that there are "tells" in the BYU offense that other teams have picked up on. It seemed like Michigan was on to something as well. I am not enough of a football x's and o's guy to know if it is simply formation, are they reading the Q cards from the sideline, a combination or is it simply that the offense is predictable and alignments and plays from the sideline if studied in game prep make it easier to figure out?
