I'd rather do away with divisions. Top 4 teams from each league go to playoffs.
The MLB season is too long to get shut out of the playoffs when you have a better record than a team that won a weak division.

Honestly, I'd add two teams to go to 32 and then divide to 8, 4-team divisions
