Joe Germaine got some press - was known as the Mormon Missile or something like that among OSU fans. Amazing that NAU of all schools didn't give him a scholly because he wanted to go on a mission. Maybe the best player to ever consider NAU.

Danny White at ASU and later Dallas was well known as an LDS player.

And there are a few others, but they are few and far between. At BYU I think their legend and impact would be that much greater.
