Upside to a new B12 as per Bluebrotha is BYU would be the big fish & call shots
Of that group (TCU, Baylor, Boise and etc) we'd be able to take a seat at the front and call the shots. However being the big dog in the WAC and MWC never made us popular either.
BYU likes to have the ability to make its own demands. One thing the PAC wouldn't like to deal with nor Texas or Oklahoma. But a new B12 trying to save face would welcome the BYU brand and influence. Some teams are made to anchor conferences and some are made just to fill spots. BYU is an anchor in this aspect.
