BYU to the Big 12 in football only in 2017 just does not make any realistic sense. There's no evidence or chatter that lends to this theory. You would think at least someone at one of the schools would've leaked this possibility outside of BYU. Yes, BYU is great about keeping this quiet, but the Big 12 sure isn't, nor their reporting media. And it would completely contradict everything that is coming out of the Big 12 commish's mouth, while also making no sense in conjunction with the Oklahoma's AD's comments about needing to consider expanding (which he wouldn't do if it were already in line to happen).
Would I love it to be happen? Of course. Would be over the moon. But I've gotten tired of false hope.
