I realize that gas is generally cheaper and for those who are really
into cooking, it can provide a superior cooking experience.
1. Much easier cleanup with a glass top electric range. I spent hours cleaning our gas range a month ago and it was awful.
2. No gas smell
3. The knobs are up high where my kids can't reach them (especially my 18mo)
4. No gas danger (assuming I get this done right tonight)
5. No CO danger
6. My wife doesn't really like cooking with gas anyway
7. This particular electric range is on a really good sale and its gas counterpart is not.
