It would have been funny like calling a coach classless for kicking an FG in the

final moments of a 2 score game even though his team had already missed 2 FG's in the game.

Oh wait, that's not funny, that is just good coaching. Game time is the best practice time there is. And if your kicking game is struggling, a chip shot FG is a good way to work out the bugs and try and build confidence.
