Honestly, if it's your last semester, you won't need another ecclesiastical

endorsement, so you don't have to go to church any more. You can totally drop out of the church at that point.

The only reason to request that your name be removed right then is to make a statement. It's a conscious choice to reject a degree from BYU. It would be completely voluntary and intentional.
