You forgot to mention that the head coach has to manage an army of missionaries and recruit in such a way that all the holes in the depth chart (caused by athletes leaving for a mission whenever they choose) get filled in when half the recruiting class leaves for a mission. Then have places on the roster for all the athletes when they return. This while balancing every position appropriately so there is no weaknesses in talent at each and every position and has a balance of freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors so that each team is reloading instead of rebuilding. Don't forget that in the case that the Brethren change the missionary age you have to re-balance everything while maintaining a winning record against the hardest schedule in school history and on national television.
