I completely agree with the top 6 - it is very unlikely, barring injuries, that the Jazz surpass any of those teams. I feel like they have a better overall roster than the Pelicans, although having one "Superduperstar" counts for a lot - so I would put them about on par with N.O. If you have watched Deron Williams at all for the past two seasons, the idea that the Mavericks will be better due to his addition is pretty far-fetched.

The rest? The Lakers, Kings, Suns, and Timberwolves all either lack an identity (Lakers and Suns), or are far too reliant on young players (TWolves and Kings) to be successful this year. And its not just Jazz fans who believe this - take a look at the Vegas over/unders for wins this year:
