Neat. I'm glad you can see things from the 500 foot level
How are you at taking a closer look? If you had that ability, you would know that the Jazz had the best defensive rating in the NBA post all-star break, which coincides with Gobert joining the starting lineup on a permanent basis. You would also know that many pundits felt that Gobert didn't deserve post-season awards because he only started about half the season. You would also know that the Jazz beat the Grizzlies on the road before the loss at the end of the season, but that wouldn't matter because you would know that focusing on single games is pointless when analyzing a team's potential.

Furthermore, you would know that overall record from a prior season isn't necessarily a good indication of how they will be the next season. You will know that there are numerous examples of teams on the rise that miss the playoffs one year, barely make it the next, and become playoff mainstays afterward. But, nah, disregard this information. Maintain your overly simplistic view from 500 feet.
