Baby Boomer have let the govt spend ourselves into oblivion. However, I think they have a much better grasp of personal finances than younger generations. For some reason they let the govt spend and tax like crazy, yet baby boomers seemed to not be directly careless with their own money and actually saved for bigger purchases. It's a weird dynamic.

Meanwhile I seen younger generations go into crazy personal debt early on in life and many wanting a bailout for it.
