When a kid goes to the Bishop, the bishop doesn't pick up the phone and call the honor code office. He works with the person. For certain egregious acts, he may encourage the person to withdraw or her may withdraw his endorsement.

In the vast majority of cases the person repents and continues on and the honor code office is none the wiser.

The challenge you get is when someone who is well known does something that is well known. But that is the same in the church.
