team but actually went to UVU before my mission because BYU would not accept several of my high school college courses. After getting my associates degree I transferred to BYU after my mission. I do have to say however, that while attending UVU there was a sense of "better than you" that I felt from BYU students I associated with that year. Interestingly enough, most of them were not from Utah but were attending BYU from out of state. I can really see that if a person was not raised with the BYU love that I had been, how easy it would be to dislike BYU.
