I love Mangum, but he isn't a top 10 QB yet, nor will he be this year.
The game hasn't slowed down for him yet (it will), and he's missing some things in a typical freshman fashion.
But to play "let's pretend".
BYU schedule next year is better than this year. If we have Taysom and Tanner, plus Jamaal and Adam; please tell me how you scheme against them. The D coordinators are going to have breakdowns. The Taysom/Tanner disconnect would be crazy. Put them both in on 3rd and 7 and what do you do? (IN my grapevine channelling way, They line up next to each other and the defense has no idea who the ball gets snapped to ).
We hoped to go 2-2 this year WITH Taysom. I would expect 2016 to be 1984ish with both. Taysom KNOWS this.
