"Student-athletes who have received their bachelor’s degree and have at least one remaining year of athletic eligibility are subject to the same release requirements as undergraduates. In Division I, a student-athlete with remaining athletics eligibility who enrolls in a graduate or professional program at a different school may be eligible to compete immediately if they have not previously transferred from a four-year school and their undergraduate school provides a written transfer release."
