I hope any BYU player now or future who wants to transfer will be allowed to transfer anywhere they want with no questions asked. Rarely do top D1 players transfer in college football because of the rules. Before I get replies asking why I don't see Hill as a top player....I do. Yet with his injury history, having to learn a new offense along with starting over building team chemistry, AND his output when he didn't participate in camp it's unlikely he would tip the scales against byu IF went to a team we play. Regarding Hill I doubt we would regret "letting" him go to a specific team. Personally I hope whatever he does he succeeds. The other 99% of players wanting to leave I'd say "if u don't want to be here, we don't want u here." Think this practice of trying to prevent players from transferring to certain schools is childish. The odds of a transfer in CFL having a dominant game vs their former school is extremely slim.
