Obviously there is a connection, and thats just fine

but the depth of that connection is just wildly misjudged by many Y fans. The connection is a huge part of their fandom, and for that reason, so I am ok with it, AS LONG as they recognize that some part of that connection is irrational. I myself have admittedly irrational feelings that have made my fandom stronger.
