As someone who's slightly mathematically OCD about repeating fractions,I concede
that a full-on base-12 system WOULD have been a whole lot easier. It makes you wonder. If all humans had been born with 6 digits on each hand and foot, is that the system we'd have developed instead of the decimal system?
Fractions would have been a breeze!
One sixth? 0.2
One fourth? 0.3
One third? 0.4
One half? 0.6
Easy!
